Pete McKenna,

I decided to close my
construction company, sold
my retail business and moved
from Connecticut to Port St.
Lucie in 2004 with my wife
Irene. We have three
daughters, but only one
resides here in Florida. I
have been involved in
shooting sports since 198
and am a long time member of
the NRA. I joined MCSA two
years ago and found not only
a great place to shoot, but
the friendliest group of
people you could meet in
Florida.
Dave Steward, Secretary
Born
in Chicago Illinois,
grew up in Midlothian,
Illinois. Enlisted in the
U.S. Marine Corp. in 1963
and spent 14 months in Viet
Nam. Moved to Saint Lucie
County, Florida in 1980 and
joined MCSA in 1989. Retired
in 2007 and spend a lot of
my time at the range doing
what I really enjoy.
Bill Cole, Treasurer
Long time Florida resident.
Shooting since 6. Served on
several business and charity
boards. MBA. NRA Life
Member, NRA Certified CRSO
and Instructor. Business
career as an owner in
building material/building
business.
Jim Dunn,
Range Director
Born in NYC, Jim joined NYCPD in 05/04/61,
honorably retired in late
“81. Moved to upstate N.Y.
and became a dairy farmer
for 5-6 years, took a
supervisory position with a
large security corporation
until moving to Florida in
1994. While living on the
West Coast I joined the
Wyoming Antelope Club,
Florida Chapter, a very fine
rifle and pistol club. Upon
moving to Port St. Lucie, I
joined the MCSA 3 years ago.
I enjoy hunting, fishing,
rifle and pistol shooting;
have been a member of the
NRA for a great many years.
Elected to the position of
Range Director Jan. 2004.
Dave Lester, Membership
Director
I was born in a
small town in southern Ohio
and moved to West Palm
in1984. I joined MCSA after
moving to Stuart in 1995 and
have been the Saturday
morning Range Officer since
Lenny started the program. I
enjoy handguns, old surplus
rifles and reloading. I am
the contact person between
our club and the CMP as well
as a Life Member of the NRA.
